based on our individual evaluation. Some removals are fairly

straight forward, while others are extremely complex, demanding

and time consuming.

Please note that some removals are more complex and we ask

for a larger donation to help cover costs.

URBAN BEE KEEPING:

We also are happy to help Urban Beekeepers - i.e. licensed, registered bee keepers who want hives in their gardens! If you're in the south Florida area, depending on your location (you must be a registered beekeeper who knows how to manage your own hives), Evan can provide everything you need to get you up and running with two bee hives - as long as you meet your local requirements (as dictated by your local laws), have private, fenced off land that is large enough to house a couple of hives, NOT part of a HOA (unless they specifically give written permission for you to keep bee hives), quiet and dark (at night), sufficient space and easy access for Evan and his installation vehicle, then this might be just what you've been looking for. The cost varies depending on the location, but for example, in Fort Lauderdale, a two-hive installation would be $850. If you live outside Fort Lauderdale, depending on travel time, it may cost a little more, but you can discuss that with Evan. This includes two full hives, all the components and frames, bees and one queen per hive. You'd need to provide the stand (we'd tell you what you need), ant traps/ant moats, and then Evan can do the installation. He will not manage or inspect your hives after installation, that is something you will need to do on you own, so you would need to be confident and competent in that area. Evan will only install bee hives when he is confident that the home owner is able to take care of their bees going forward, conduct regular inspections, and actually manage their hives.

If you're interested in purchasing our honey, contact us to see if we have any for sale. We like to leave most of the honey for the bees themselves - after all, they did make it, and rely on it for survival. However, when the bees have a huge surplus, that's when we will go and harvest a few frames of honey, and all proceeds go right back to protecting and preserving them. We don't treat our bees with any chemicals, so the honey is as pure as if you reached right into the hive and took a piece of honeycomb or a scoop of honey.
